I joined Physics Academy in May of J1 as my Physics grades were fluctuating quite a bit and my Physics teacher in school was not the best in explaining topics. Physics Academy has helped me to practise my Physics easily through its online portal quizzes as well as increased my exposure to various kinds of questions for the different topics. Mr Lai’s lessons to help us recall past topics has certainly helped me effectively to recap on my knowledge and apply it to answer the questions that he comes up with on the spot! The topical questions that he has printed out for us to practise as well as his Physics Bible also been extremely useful in preparation for A Levels! After his lessons, I was also able to jump from a high B to score an A for A Levels 🙂 Physics has always been considered a subject I struggled with a bit due to its wide application-based knowledge required, but Mr Lai has helped to increase our exposure to such questions that made it much less daunting for me 🙂 Hence, joining Physics Academy is a worthwhile journey that one shouldn’t hesitate to embark on!

I have attended countless physics tuition classes, but Mr Lai is the most dedicated and patient physics teacher i’ve ever come across. He always goes the extra mile to create the drive to work hard for his students. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, and his engaging way of teaching enabled me to rlly look forward to his classes. Coupled with his physics bible and online teaching tools, he effortlessly simplifies complex concepts. Thanks to him, I went from hating physics to finding physics exciting. I also managed to jump from S/E to a B within a considerably short time with his help. I am extremely grateful to have had him as my teacher, the only regret being not having joined his classes earlier. I dare say it is impossible to find another teacher as phenomenal as Mr Lai.

I approached Mr Lai to Coach my daughter around June 2022 because she got F9 for her physics and within a short span of time Mr Lai has managed to coach my daughter to attend B3 for her o level. Greatly appreciate his expertise and professionalism and care!

It is fun learning in Physics Academy. I have learnt a lot from this tuition. Mr Lai is a very highly qualified teacher, and has helped me to understand tough concepts like Kinematics and Thermal Physics. Mr Lai also has a Physics Bible which has been very useful in preparing for the O levels! Furthermore, in class, Mr Lai also provides many practice questions which double up as revision. Also, Mr Lai also provides prizes for students who have seen grade jumps or have gotten As as a form of motivation, and I have gotten a lot of prizes as I have consistently gotten As for Physics! All in all, Mr Lai’s teaching has really benefitted me as it allowed me to understand tough Physics concepts while also being exposed to many different Physics questions, which allowed me to be prepared for my O levels!

Physics academy have personally helped me improve my understanding in the subject ALOT. At first i was not able to grasp the subject properly from school and was struggling with borderline passes however after joining physics academy Mr Lai not only explains a topic but will mid way always ask confirmatory questions for us to answer, to ensure we understand it thoroughly which really helped strengthen my understanding. His online platform also made mcqs constantly available if i wanted to take a 5 qu quiz before any tests. I didnt join at the start of sec 3 so my understanding of the first few topics wasnt in depth. However the june crash courses, i would say, were the MOST effective and helpful revision. He also gave us prizes for the top scores in his online quizes( i got 100 dollars:)) which really made me strive to cheongg. Mr Lai also gave us a timetable to submit out TYS and marks all of them therefore pushing us to finish eveything. I would say the highlights of my journey with physics academy are Mr Lai's style of teaching by asking us to answer questions in between lessons helping me immidiately clear any doubts in that topic as well as the june crash courses that covered all 22 topics in 1 month and gave me an incentive to drive towards my goal. I was able to score an A in my o levels this year thanks to physics academy:)

Mr lai helped me to get A in all school exams and especially O levels, he is a really good teacher as he explains all the concepts clearly and he gives numerous practices and exposes us to many hard questions from top schools so that we can be sharp in physics. His digital lessons definitely helped me to understand the concepts clearly and quickly.His physics bible contained many qns that came out in O Level that specifically helped me to get A.
